About
Greetings, my name is Muqeet (/muːˈkiːt/), and welcome to my site Muqta ka Nuqta. Muqta is my nickname, and whilst a rich name in of itself, it was not attributed to me with that in mind. In Urdu, Ka (کا) means “of” and Nuqta (نقطہ) means a dot or full stop. Translating directly to “The point of Muqta”, I will leave the interpretation up to the readers.
I was born and raised in London, and read physics at university, before settling on a career in software engineering. I spend most of my free time playing sports – tennis – or video games. I love hiking and travelling, and, in particular, learning about other cultures.
